Nicholas Rayner

Executive Chairman

I have been a GP partner in Newmarket and a member of Suffolk Primary Care's Board. I represent the GP practices in West Suffolk. Outside of Suffolk Primary Care I have an interest in dermatology and minor surgery, and I am Executive Director of the Suffolk GP Federation.

Paul Brown

Chief Executive Officer

I am an MSc Management graduate of London School of Economics with 15 years healthcare and public sector operations experience. I have spent the last six years as the management lead at Stowhealth, overseeing the practice being rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC. I have recently worked as a primary care adviser to the Eastern Academic Health Science Network and previously worked as a healthcare quality improvement consultant with primary and secondary care organisations across London, the South and Eastern regions of England.

Neil Macey

Co Chief Medical Officer

I am GP and Executive Partner at Stowhealth and a Locality Representative for the central area. I am excited by the prospect of realising the huge potential of practices working together and creating something that is bigger than the sum of our parts.

Jackie Muir

Co Chief Medical Officer

I have been a full-time GP Partner at Combs Ford Surgery for 22 years. I trained in Edinburgh and moved to Suffolk in 1993, initially working as a locum GP. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and forming Suffolk Primary Care into something which we can all be proud of.

Jordan Nye

GP Partner Representative

I have been a GP for three years having worked as a salaried GP at Norwich Road before becoming a partner two years ago. Having completed my medical education in Prague in 2009 I did my post-graduate training posts in Somerset and Ipswich, where I did my GP training. I strongly believe collaborative working is the way forward for general practice and am excited to be working in such an innovative project as Suffolk Primary Care.

Dr Hannah Bailey-Thomas

Salaried GP Representative

Having grown up in Suffolk since the age of two, I returned after foundation training in Bath to train as a GP in the Ipswich area to be nearer family. After qualifying I joined one of my old training practices in my home town of Felixstowe, and this is where I have been as a full time salaried GP for the last eight years. I have been training Cambridge medical students for a number of years and I am trained to educate GP registrars. My clinical interests include mental health and respiratory medicine. I am very pleased to have been appointed to represent salaried doctors and other non-partner staff on the SPC board in these first exciting stages of working on new ways of delivering quality care to patients in Suffolk.

Sean West

Financial Controller

My background is in Finance, with over 30 years of experience. I spent 10 years in practice and subsequently worked in a wide range of industries, including property management, manufacturing, outsourcing, marketing, financial services and even some time with foundation trusts. During that time, I have always championed process change and improvement, with implementing financial systems, strategic decision making and rolling up my sleeves to get stuck in. I especially like the people management side of business, after all the people are the core and what stands us aside from everyone else.

James Cucchiara

Operations Director

I have worked in primary care for over 15 years in various roles and organisations. My background is practice management, most recently I have worked at a large provider of primary care services across the country supporting integration, service delivery and business development. I am very excited by the challenge of being part of Suffolk Primary Care.
